We are determined to tackle waste separation effectively
Building Design
The PARQ provides dedicated areas to accommodate sustainable waste management, consisting of three main areas: Waste Separation Room for Recycling, Food Waste Composter, and Dust Drum Compactor.
Waste Separation Room for Recycling: Recyclable waste is sorted before handling by a professional hauler.
Food Waste Composter: Food waste is also sorted for composting into fertilizers. The PARQ’s composter transforms food waste into nutrient-rich fertilizers within 24 hour using natural biocatalyst and heat. These fertilizers are used on-site to replace chemical fertilizers.
Dust Drum: Our cutting-edge waste compactor compresses waste into a smaller size and eliminates liquid from the garbage, making waste handling easy and hygienic for both the building and the municipality. The compactor is a closed system that is easy to clean and maintain, allowing for better pest and odor controls.
OPERATION AND TENANT ENGAGEMENT
The PARQ is committed to creating lasting shared values with our tenants and the waste management initiative is an example of how our combined effort can bring about significant changes. Tenants are encouraged to contribute by reducing their own waste generation, sorting their recyclable waste, and composting their food waste. The PARQ also works to raise awareness about waste sorting and creates the Live Green, Live Well Campaign to encourage waste sorting in which tenants can turn their recyclable waste into charity donations.
